AIDS Rochester is committed to serving the queer community by providing HIV and STD screenings both on-site at our offices and in community outreach settings.

HIV TESTING

• HIV Testing through AIDS Rochester is always free and is provided on a walk-in basis during scheduled hours.
• We provide oral HIV testing (NO needles).
• We offer both standard testing (results in one week) and rapid testing (results in 20 minutes).
• We currently have two testing locations with different hours. These locations are:
• 1350 University Ave., Mondays or Thursdays 5pm to 8pm.
• 416 Central Ave. (near Tilt Nightclub), Daily 1pm to 4pm.

STD TESTING

• AIDS Rochester has received specific support from the NY State Dept. of Health to provide free walk-in STD screenings to gay & bisexual men.
• We offer urine sample testing for Gonorrhea & Chlamydia and blood tests for Syphilis.
• Testing is available during HIV Testing hours on Mondays from 5pm to 8pm at our location at 1350 University Ave.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & TESTING

In addition, AIDS Rochester provides additional testing opportunities in the community. These opportunities

• The First Saturday of every month we provide both HIV & STD testing at the Rochester Spa and Body Club, 109 Liberty Pole Way from 10pm to 1am.
• The Third Saturday of every month (“Bar Night”), our outreach van is parked outside of The Bachelor's Forum, 670 University Avenue from 10pm to 1am.
• At other times throughout the month you may see our outreach van in the community outside bars & other queer businesses. Often we are offering free testing when we’re out…so stop by and check it out!
