Education Programs: Universal Precautions
Educates participants in modes of transmission, rates of infection, morbidity and epidemiology of blood borne pathogens, and how to access post-exposure prophylaxis and use personal protective equipment in the event of an exposure.
Target Population: Individuals whose occupations place them at high risk for any of the significant blood borne pathogens, including hepatitis A, hepatitis B and human immunodeficiency virus.
One sixty-minute presentation.
